Ex-BP engineer to face federal jury

The Associated Press reports a former BP engineer charged with deleting text messages and voicemails about the oil giant’s response to the 2010 Gulf of Mexico oil spill is set to face a federal jury soon.
Jury selection will begin on Monday in New Orleans for Kurt Mix, 52, a resident of Texas.
Mix is charged with two counts of obstruction of justice for allegedly deleting text messages to and from a supervisor and BP contractor.
