Apple to build $850M solar farm in Calif.
Apple CEO Tim Cook announced plans to build a $850 million solar energy farm in California with First Solar on Tuesday.
The farm, which would be built in Monterey County, would be able to power roughly 60,000 homes, Cook said, according to CNBC.
It would be Apple’s fourth solar farm, but first in California. The other three are in North Carolina and Nevada.
