DOE chief Moniz: Reaction to hairdo ‘absolutely excellent’

Moniz beamed about a video The Daily Beast compiled that compared his ‘do to George Washington, Javier Bardem’s character in “No Country for Old Men” and Oscar Wilde.

“I will just say that I loved some of the comparisons of The Daily Beast. And you can guess which one I liked best. You can let me know, and I’ll let you know if you got it,” he told the Knoxville News Sentinel after touring the Oak Ridge National Laboratory.

The comments shine a light on the “very peculiar sense of humor” the new Energy Department (DOE) chief says he shares with Deputy DOE Secretary Daniel Poneman.

We’ll see if he’s still laughing once Washington, D.C.’s summer humidity sets in.
