House Dem pulls fracking lawsuit to gather more evidence

Acting through Mountain Property Improvement LLC, the holding company in which Polis’s 50 acres land on Weld County Road 5 is held, Polis on Monday had filed suit to put a stop to drilling activity that started soon after heavy equipment showed up on a neighbor’s property around July 18.

The drilling, Polis said, is taking place about 50 feet from the foot of his driveway, and within 100 feet of his guest house and garage.
