EPA, Energy Dept. chiefs to appear at House climate hearing

{mosads}Whitfield on Wednesday sent follow-up letters to other agencies, such as the Interior, Agriculture and Transportation departments, seeking witnesses for the hearing.

“We remain hopeful each agency will be able to provide a witness as the
initial request was sent over six weeks ahead of the September 18
hearing,” the committee aide said.

The Sept. 18 subcommittee hearing will be the House GOP’s first big public vetting of the White House climate plan that many Republicans have criticized.
