Supreme Court mum for now on climate rule challenges

{mosads}The appeals court in 2012 upheld EPA actions including the “endangerment finding” that greenhouse gases are a threat to human health and welfare — a finding that provides the underpinning for regulation of emissions from tailpipes, smokestacks and other sources.

The suspense over whether the Supreme Court will examine any or all of the 2012 ruling arrives as the EPA is crafting first-time carbon emissions standards for power plants.
