Environmental group projects ‘No Trump, Yes Paris’ onto Warsaw building
The environmental activist group Greenpeace projected the words “No Trump, Yes Paris” onto a building in Warsaw, Poland on Wednesday as Trump arrived in the city ahead of a Group of 20 summit in Germany.
The slogan is a rebuke of the president’s decision last month to withdraw the U.S. from the landmark Paris climate agreement.

When announcing that the U.S. would leave the 195-nation agreement, Trump excoriated Obama-era climate initiatives that were supported by environmental groups.

The Paris agreement is likely to come up during the two-day G-20 summit in Hamburg. European leaders, such as German Chancellor Angela Merkel, have criticized the U.S. withdrawal and rejected Trump’s suggestion of renegotiating the climate deal.
Trump did not mention the Paris deal or climate change in general during a Thursday speech in Warsaw.
Reuters reported that small-scale protests were planned in Warsaw during Trump’s visit, but authorities do not anticipate any large demonstrations.
