House leaders remain undecided on pre-election vote on Bush tax cuts
“There’s a possibility that we will,” he told reporters, adding, “we’re discussing the entire agenda for the next day or so.”
Earlier today Hoyer made similar comments, saying a pre-election vote on the tax cuts could still happen even though he doubted the prospect on Sunday.
“If we thought we could get it through the Senate, absolutely, we would act,” he told reporters earlier today. “We may well act anyway.”
Hoyer suggested that his Caucus might discuss the issue in their meeting scheduled for later this week.
“We’ve been talking to the Caucus about a lot of items on the agenda,” he said.
