Fincher joins Financial Services

{mosads}The freshman came to office as part of the big GOP gains in the 2010 midterm election. There, he beat incumbent Rep. John Tanner (D). Before winning public officer, Fincher was the managing partner of a farming operation that produces cotton, corn, wheat and soybeans, experience he said Thursday would prove helpful at his new committee.

“I am confident that my real world business experience will bring a strong frame-of-reference to the House Committee on Financial Services and assist the committee in developing good public policy,” he said.

Fincher will be leaving his original assignments on the Transportation and Agriculture Committees to join Bachus’s panel, according to his office.
