OMB defends Higginbottom

{mosads}”Heather Higginbottom has worked at the highest levels of policymaking in the legislative and executive branches for over a decade,” OMB spokeswoman Moira Mack said in an email.

Higginbottom has served as deputy assistant to the president for domestic policy.

“President Obama and Director Lew, who once served in the position, selected Heather because they’ve seen her command of the issues and the depth of her experience,” Mack added.
