Lew, Baucus to meet Tuesday

{mosads}Senate Republicans have said that Lew, as a top White House official, will have to answer for the White House’s negotiation tactics in past fiscal talks during the confirmation process, and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) has said he will oppose Lew’s nomination.

But Democrats are confident that Lew will eventually get confirmed. Geithner has said he will leave Treasury on Friday.
