Former TARP watchdog joins Venable law firm

{mosads}Rivera also served as SIGTARP’s representative on President Obama’s Financial Fraud Enforcement Task Force, and also helped set up a working group with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, allowing the two agencies to work together to bring enforcement actions and alert consumers to protect issues.

Venable started his legal career as a staff attorney with the Securities and Exchange Commission, and previously was a partner at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP before joining SIGTARP.
