US, Canadian officials set to meet on NAFTA
U.S. and Canadian officials are expected to meet this week about renegotiating the three-nation North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), according to news reports.

U.S. and Canadian officials have met more than a dozen times since Trump won in November to discuss trade and other issues, according to a Canadian source.
Trump has talked to both Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto and Trudeau about a reworking of the trade deal that closely links the three countries. Peña Nieto and Trudeau have expressed a willingness to work out a new deal.
Trump has leveled criticism at Mexico and has threatened to levy high tariffs on products to equalize the trade balance.
