Gallup: Declining confidence in job market

The number of people who thought it was a good time for job seeking had been steadily on the rise in 2012 and earlier this year before falling off recently.

The U.S. unemployment rate has ticked down to 7.4 percent, though the economy added a disappointing 174,000 jobs in July. Economic observers are also closely watching the Federal Reserve, which is currently considering slowing down its stimulus program later in the year.
