Read Senate GOP’s tax bill
Senate Republicans unveiled their own tax cut bill on Thursday.
The bill breaks with both House Republicans and President Trump by delaying corporate tax cuts by one year and by repealing the deduction on state and local taxes.
Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), the chair of the Senate Finance Committee, released his version of the Senate GOP tax bill Thursday night. While he has not released legislative language, the document gives a detailed account of what is to be included in the bill. {mosads}
If the bill does pass the upper chamber, it would set up a difficult negotiation with the House.
