Employers urge more clarity on ObamaCare mandate delay

{mosads}The coalition expressed “sincere appreciation” that the Obama administration issued its delay, which means that employers with 50 or more workers will not be required to provide healthcare coverage until 2015.

“The administration’s willingness to act upon the concerns of employers is the kind of flexibility we need in the implementation of a complex law to ensure that employers can continue to offer affordable coverage to their workers,” the employers wrote.

The letter was sent to Treasury Secretary Jack Lew, Labor Secretary Thomas Perez and Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, and the relevant congressional leaders.

It was circulated by the Retail Industry Leaders Association.
