Obama to tout ObamaCare as economic benefit
President Obama will promote ObamaCare shortly in a speech highlighting his vision for economic mobility in the United States, The New York Times reported.
{mosads}The speech will build on an address given two years ago in Osawatomie, Kan., and comes as the White House seeks to shift the narrative surrounding the troubled rollout of the healthcare law.
Speaking in Anacostia, one of Washington, D.C.’s most impoverished neighborhoods, Obama is expected to frame his agenda in a wider historical context, echoing speeches from the campaign trail.
“President Obama will discuss the twin challenges of growing income inequality and shrinking economic mobility and how they pose a fundamental threat to the American dream,” the White House said in a statement.
