ObamaCare backers express frustration with White House
Some ObamaCare supporters are no longer counting on the White House to successfully promote the law to the public, the Los Angeles Times reported.
{mosads}Healthcare providers and consumer advocates are preparing their own efforts amid doubts that the administration is ready to handle future problems with the rollout, the paper reported.
“I have never seen medical providers more dismissive of a White House,” one longtime healthcare lobbyist told the Times.
The tensions come as the White House seeks to reassure its allies after the rocky two months following Oct. 1, when HealthCare.gov debuted with serious technical problems.
The administration has publicized its effort to coordinate messaging with Democrats on Capitol Hill, and a former congressional liaison, Phil Schiliro, is back on board to help smooth relations.
