Planned Parenthood uses Minions movie in its defense
Planned Parenthood is enlisting an unlikely source in fending off attacks: Minions.
The organization posted a tweet on Friday with a clip from the new animated “Minions” film about the yellow creatures.

Planned Parenthood has been under fire after viral videos were posted online showing officials from the group candidly discussing prices for fetal tissue donation.
The group behind the video, the Center for Medical Progress, says that it shows the group illegally profiting off fetal tissue. Planned Parenthood strongly denies this claim and points to the officials’ statements in the videos that they are looking for legal compensation for expenses, not profit.
A range of liberal groups have also rallied to Planned Parenthood’s defense, including Emily’s List and CREDO. Hillary Clinton defended the group on Thursday.
“I think it is unfortunate that Planned Parenthood has been the object of such a concerted attack for so many years,” she said.
Planned Parenthood and Universal, the studio that released “Minions,” did not immediately respond to a requet for comment.
