Grassley, Hatch protest ‘unlimited’ health-law grants

{mosads}Republicans have long criticized the Obama administration’s spending on
the Affordable Care Act, saying it lacks accountability and
transparency.

The Health and Human Services (HHS) Department “fails to provide substantive guidance to states on how these grant dollars should be used and provides no oversight on how these taxpayer dollars are being spent,” the senators wrote to HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius.

The letter asks how sequestration will affect exchange grants and how much HHS has given to states so far.
