Drugs cheapest at Costco, priciest at CVS, study finds

{mosads}The report found a difference in price of $749 between the priciest and the cheapest retailers.

The consumer group urged shoppers to compare prices and demand the best deal, particularly at independent pharmacies, which are more likely to go the extra mile for customer satisfaction.

“If they want to retain your business and loyalty, they will help you get the best price,” Lisa Gill, an editor at Consumer Reports, said of independent drugstores.
