ObamaCare contractor under investigation in UK
{mosads}Serco won a significant contract earlier this month to help build new insurance exchanges under President Obama’s healthcare law.
The exchanges are designed to function as state-by-state marketplaces where people who do not get insurance through their employer can shop for a plan on their own. Most people using the exchanges will receive a tax credit, based on their income, to help cover the cost of their premiums.
Serco’s contract to help build the exchanges could be worth as much as $1.2 billion over five years, according to The New York Times.
