Liberal group blasts GOP in ObamaCare TV spot
{mosads}ObamaCare supporters have touted the figures, first reported by The New York Times, as a sign that the law is having its intended effect.
“ObamaCare is working,” the TV ad states. “Tell the Republicans: Hands off ObamaCare.”
Messaging wars on healthcare have heated up as federal health officials race to implement ObamaCare’s key provisions.
Thursday’s TV spot also came on the heels of House votes to delay the law’s employer and individual mandates.
The administration announced on July 2 that it would delay the employer mandate for one year. That policy requires firms of 50 or more workers to provide health insurance or face fines.
Republicans argue individuals should enjoy a delay as well, and that the postponement means that healthcare reform is already failing.
