ObamaCare foes take campaign against law to ‘Saturday Night Live’

An ad blasting President Obama’s healthcare law is set to air during NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” and several other major programs, according to a conservative advocacy group.

{mosads}YG Network cut its roughly two-minute commercial in order to portray ObamaCare as harmful, unpopular and tough to sell to consumers.

The scene shows a group of advertising executives around a conference table struggling to find a way to market the law’s benefits. “We’re supposed to sell this junk?” one character says.

Groups that oppose healthcare reform have started to discourage people from seeking subsidized coverage on the new insurance exchanges, which are scheduled to open Oct. 1.

ObamaCare supporters say the law will meet a crucial need for people who lack coverage or struggle with healthcare costs.

The YG Network’s ad will also air during NBC’s “Meet the Press” and prime-time programs such as “America’s Got Talent,” the group said.
