Cardin to tout ObamaCare in Baltimore

{mosads}Maryland’s federally qualified community health centers are expected to receive about $1.7 million in federal funds under ObamaCare.

The money will support new staff to help consumers navigate their new healthcare coverage options.

According to the National Association of Community Health Centers, the facilities serve more than 22 million patients in the United States.

The healthcare law is expected to expand that access thanks to grants for construction projects, renovations and new medical equipment.

Cardin’s event will take place at the Highlandtown Healthy Living Center.
