No terror link to missing jet, Rogers says

There’s no reason to believe that terrorism had anything to do with the missing Malaysia Airlines jet, House Intelligence Chairman Mike Rogers (R-Mich.) said Sunday.

{mosads}“I have seen nothing yet that has come out of the investigation that would lead me to conclude that there was anything other than a normal flight that something happened, and something went wrong,” Rogers said on “Fox News Sunday.”

Rogers suggested that federal investigators had found no reason to question the motives of the pilots of the jet, but said the investigation would also have to look all the crew and passengers on the plane.

“It’ll take a tremendous amount of time to do that,” Rogers said. “We’re just going to have to be patient.”

The best thing for the investigation, Rogers said, would be to find the frame of the plane, which he believes is at the bottom of the Indian Ocean.
