Russia wants access to FBI records in shooting of Chechen man linked to Boston attack suspect
{mosads}The request highlights the tensions between U.S. and Russian authorities amid the ongoing probe into the radicalization of the Boston bombing suspects, who are ethnically from the Russian republic of Chechnya.
Russia’s Federal Security Service told a U.S. congressional delegation last week that it had sent the FBI and the CIA a letter in March 2011 with details about Tsarnaev’s alleged path toward radicalization in Boston. The FBI says it replied to the letter with a request for more details, something the FSB denies.
