Trump to speak with Netanyahu
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will speak with President Donald Trump on Sunday.
“A telephone conversation will be held this evening between President Trump and me. Many matters face us, the Israeli-Palestinian issue, the situation in Syria, the Iranian threat,” Netanyahu said, according to Reuters.
The conversation will take place at 1:30 p.m ET.
Trump and Netanyahu previously met in New York when the prime minister was in town for the United Nations General Assembly in September.
{mosads}In a statement following that meeting, Netanyahu said Trump would “recognize Jerusalem as the undivided capital of the State of Israel.”
The president on Sunday will also attend a swearing-in ceremony for top staffers and host a reception for law enforcement officers and first responders.
