Spicer: Netanyahu to visit US in February

White House press secretary Sean Spicer announced Monday that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will visit the United States on Feb. 15.

“Our relationship with the only democracy in the Middle East is crucial to the security of both our nations and the president looks forward to discussing continued strategic, technological, military, and intelligence cooperation with the prime minister,” Spicer said during his press briefing.

Trump met with Netanyahu in September, ahead of the November elections in the U.S.

Netanyahu recently backed Trump’s order to construct a wall on the U.S. border with Mexico, citing Israel’s construction of a wall on its border with Egypt.
