UN chief urges delay in response to Syria attack

“The U.N. investigation will not determine who used these chemical weapons, only whether such weapons were used – a judgment that is already clear to the world,” Secretary of State John Kerry said Monday. “The regime’s belated decision to allow access is too late, and it’s too late to be credible.”

{mosads}Britain has said it will introduce a resolution at the U.N. Security Council Wednesday afternoon to authorize military action. Permanent members Russia and China are expected to veto it, with Russia saying the panel should wait for the final report from the U.N. inspectors before weighing action.
