UK Labour leader has ‘message on the wall’ for Trump

The UK’s Labour Party leader delivered a message to President Trump on Saturday at England’s famous, huge Glastonbury Festival.

“Look on the wall right over there that surrounds this wonderful festival. And there’s a message on that wall for President Donald Trump,” the liberal stalwart said, while the crowd booed at the mention of Trump.

“And you know what it says? Build bridges, not walls,” Corbyn said, referencing Trump’s plan to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.

Corbyn’s Labour Party surprised UK general election watchers earlier this month by gaining seats in Parliament, while the ruling Conservative Party lost seats, leaving Prime Minister Theresa May clinging to power.

Trump himself said he was “surprised” by the results.

The Labour leader, who is an ally of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), said Friday he would look to “force an early general election” because he believes it is “ludicrous” to think May could stay in power.
