US tourists attacked with acid in France
Four U.S. tourists were reportedly rushed to a hospital on Sunday after they were attacked with acid at a train station in France.
A female suspect was arrested after she allegedly attacked the four American women at the Saint Charles train station in Marseille, according to The Associated Press.
{mosads}Two of the tourists were treated for facial injuries, according to the report.
Officials did not reveal any more information on the attack.
The attack comes as Europe is on alert after a bomb detonated in a London subway station on Friday, marking the latest attack in slew of terror attacks to rock the U.K. and continental Europe.
French officials said they prevented an “imminent terror attack” in the city, which is located in the south of France, last April.
