Pro-Palestinian protesters enter Fox News building

A group of protesters supporting Palestine reportedly entered the News Corp building, which houses Fox News’s headquarters, Friday morning in New York City.

NBC News reported protesters were in the lobby chanting, “Fox News, Fox News, you can’t hide, your lies cover up genocide.”

According to the ANSWER Coalition activist group, activists were staging a “massive disruption” at the building that owns Fox News “to protest its propaganda to justify Israel’s massacre of Palestinians.”

The group shared a video of protesters on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

The group said hundreds of protesters entered the building’s lobby Friday, but according to a spokesperson for the New York Police Department, there were about 30 participants. Sixteen people were taken into custody, NYPD said.

The Hill has reached out to Fox News for comment about the protest.

The New York protest comes two days after protesters demanding a cease-fire in the Israel-Hamas war clashed with U.S. Capitol Police outside the Democratic National Committee (DNC) headquarters in Washington.

Protests supporting Palestine and Israel have erupted across the United States in the weeks since the conflict began in the Middle East.

Tens of thousands of supporters of Palestine marched across Washington to protest the Israeli war against Hamas and the bombing of Gaza, as they called for a cease-fire and an end to U.S. support for Israel.

Earlier this week, thousands of demonstrators descended onto the National Mall to express their support for Israel in its war and to condemn antisemitism that has spiked amid the conflict.
