Iran’s president vows ‘reciprocal’ response to sanctions
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani reportedly said Wednesday that his country would provide a “reciprocal” response to U.S. sanctions legislation if it is signed into law.
Rouhani said his country would “take any action that is necessary for the country’s expedience and interests” should the sanctions go into effect, according to The Associated Press.

The House on Tuesday overwhelmingly passed legislation that would impose new sanctions on Iran for its ballistic missile development.
“We will reinforce our whole defensive weapons without paying attention to what others say,” Rouhani said on Wednesday, the AP reported.
