Pence slated to visit Iowa next week to pitch North America trade deal
Vice President Pence plans to visit Iowa next week to pitch the Trump administration’s North American trade deal.
Pence will visit the event hosted by America First Policies, a nonprofit supporting the president’s agenda, in Waukee, Iowa, next Wednesday, according to an event release from the nonprofit.
{mosads}There, the vice president will promote the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), a revamp of the North American Free Trade Agreement.
America First Policies said in the release that “this new trade deal will benefit American workers, businesses and our national economy.”

Congress still needs to ratify the new trade deal, but House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said the deal could move forward in the House while the impeachment inquiry continues.
