Al Qaeda application revealed in bin Laden trove

Applicants to al Qaeda need to provide their names, education level and a contact “in case you become a martyr.”

A three-page application form for people looking to join the terrorist group was revealed on Wednesday after Navy Seals collected it during the 2011 mission in Abbottabad, Pakistan, that killed al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.

{mosads}The questionnaire reflects the broad outlines of a typical job application, though it is bizarrely shaped by the group’s extremist ideology.

Among the more than 30 questions on the form are: “Do you wish to execute a suicide operation?”

“What objectives would you would like to accomplish on your jihad path?”

“How long do you plan to stay in the (jihadi) theater?”

“Who should we contact in case you became a martyr?”

In addition to the application, the Obama administration also revealed hundreds of letters sent by and to the al Qaeda leader that were collected during the 2011 raid, as well as technical manuals, video game guides and books about conspiracy theories including the illuminati and the prospect that the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks were condoned by then-President George W. Bush.
