Giuliani mocks Mueller with impersonation of testimony
President Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani mocked former special counsel Robert Mueller in a “Fox & Friends” appearance ahead of Mueller’s congressional testimony Wednesday.
Giuliani told the show’s hosts that the purpose of the hearing was for Democrats to obtain “soundbites” to use for political purposes.{mosads}
“The Democrats are going for soundbites for the election of Mueller saying ‘obstruction of justice,'” he said, imitating Mueller in a deep voice.
Giuliani then suggested that Mueller’s aides would advise him in a whisper to “say ‘obstruction of justice.'”
Speaking again as himself, Giuliani said he believed the hearing would result in “our soundbites,” “their soundbites” and potentially evidence for what he called a “conspiracy to frame Donald Trump Jr.”

Mueller is testifying Wednesday following the release earlier this year of his report on his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. In the report, he laid out 10 possible episodes where Trump may have obstructed justice.
