Facebook lures Levine from the White House

In her current position Levine helps coordinate the development of economic policy. Previously she served as Larry Summers’s chief of staff when he was president of Harvard University. She started her career at the Treasury Department, where she worked in the Office of Legislative Affairs and Public Liaison.

Levine will join a Facebook D.C. office lead by Tim Sparapani, who will continue to manage outreach to Congress and the federal government. With Richard Allan continuing as director of public policy for the European Union, Levine’s efforts will focus on increasing Facebook’s outreach to the remainder of the globe.
