State Dept. tweeters must look out for spies, guidelines say

Other rules seem like givens:
do not post nonpublic information, do not abuse your position for personal
gain, do not break the law.

The State Department has
moved to open itself up to social media.

“As a general matter, the
Department encourages the responsible use of social media consistent with
current laws, policies and guidance that govern information and information
technology. Department organizations will not arbitrarily ban access to or the
use of social media,” the policy says.

Ross tweets almost everyday and gets the word out about Clinton’s
official business. He has nearly 289,000 followers.
