Phoebe Yang to advise FCC chairman on broadband
Yang is general counsel of the FCC’s Omnibus Broadband Initiative, where she serves as chair of the Broadband Steering Committee. She previously served under President Bill Clinton as special coordinator for China Rule of Law. She also held executive positions at AOL Time Warner and Discovery
Communications and practiced corporate law at Hogan & Hartson.
Yang graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in government and foreign affairs. She received her J.D. from Stanford Law School, where she was president and editor-in-chief of the Stanford Law Review.
