Google Raided by Korea Police in Probe of Street View. “South Korean police raided Google Inc.’s offices in the country as part of an investigation into possible privacy breaches resulting from the company’s collection of data for its Street View mapping service,” Bloomberg reports. http://bit.ly/9F6o2f

Skype files to go public. The Internet phone company Skype will seek to raise $100 million through an initial public offering of stock, according to a Monday filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. http://bit.ly/cdq8pR

OVERHEARD…At one point in a conference call with reporters about the Google-Verizon agreement, someone could be heard whispering a tip to Verizon chief executive Ivan Seidenberg. “3D,” the tipster whispered to Seidenberg as he explained Internet traffic that could demand more bandwidth.
