Report: Cablevision steering customers to illegal online video feeds

Fox told the Daily News it has already received reports of Cablevision directing customers to the illegal online broadcasts.

“We’ve been alerted by Cablevision customers that Cablevision is directing their subscribers to illegal sites to view Fox shows, as well as our coverage of NFL games, and Major League Baseball’s playoffs — all copyrighted content. We find this absolutely appalling,” Fox officials said in a statement.”

Cablevision officials would not comment on whether the conversation was authentic, instead urging News Corp. to accept binding arbitration and restore Fox programming to its customers.
