Issa to public: Which regs hurt?
House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (Calif.) is surveying the American people on which government regulations are holding them back.
He unveiled a website on Thursday that solicits feedback from the public.
“Where does Washington help and where does it hurt?” Issa says in a video announcing the effort.
Standing at a construction site adorned with the American flag, Issa directs viewers to americanjobcreators.com, where they can send him their input.
“To get our job right, we need help from you, America’s job-creation experts,” he says. “We’re listening.”
Issa also surveyed businesses after the election to find out which regulations they find onerous. He caught some flak from groups on the left who were concerned that he was only listening to big corporations.
