Matsui named co-chairwoman of High Tech Caucus

sure to bring a fresh perspective to the leadership of the High Tech
Caucus,” McCaul said.

The technology industry cheered the announcement, citing the growing alternative-energy industry in Matsui’s home district.

“As a representative for a congressional district with a clean-energy technology hub that relies on innovation, [Matsui] will continue to bring a real-world perspective to her work in the caucus, and we are excited that she has accepted this key role,” said Phil Bond, president of the industry group TechAmerica.
