Verizon meets with FCC to discuss 911 problems
The FCC also met with Montgomery County officials on Wednesday, and is discussing the issue with with Prince George’s County and the Maryland Public Service Commission.
Verizon is also corresponding with local authorities to resolve the issue.
“We’ve been working closely with the affected 911 centers and the appropriate state and local officials to modify our processes, and we’ll continue to work with 911 centers, the Maryland Public Service Commission and the FCC,” said Verizon spokesman Ed McFadden.
