Republicans tweet sharp questions to Obama ahead of Twitter town hall

Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) quickly retweeted the AFL-CIO’s question on his Twitter account.

Questions from Democrats have generally been softer. Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D-W.Va.) asked the president: “Can you work with Democrats to make sure that Medicaid is protected from reckless cuts?”

Obama will answer questions from Twitter at 2 p.m. The event will be streamed live at askobama.twitter.com.
