Privacy advocate, Adobe director to lead Do Not Track talks

Carill and Brookman replace outgoing co-chair Peter Swire, who was selected for the White House’s surveillance review panel last month. Prior to Swire, the group was led by Stanford University’s Aleecia McDonald.

{mosads}Cargill is Adobe’s standards principal, while Brookman leads the CDT’s Project on Consumer Privacy.

In a blog post on Tuesday, W3C CEO Jeff Jaffe said the new co-chairs and the newly-outlined plan for the group will push the group forward “with renewed momentum.”
