Rubio’s website crashes after announcement
Sen. Marco Rubio’s campaign announcement may have been too much for his website to handle.
Shortly after the Florida Republican concluded his speech announcing his bid for the White House on Monday evening, his campaign website went down.
Rubio’s campaign team confirmed on Twitter that it was having problems with the site, which appeared to be caused by an overflow of traffic.
Our website got too excited by the speech.

Visitors to the website received an error page stating that the server hosting the site was not responding to visitors’ attempts to contacting it. As a result, browsers trying to visit Rubio’s site were hit with a message that “a timeout occurred.”
