White House asks YouTube to check if anti-Muslim video violates terms of use

{mosads}A day earlier Google, which owns YouTube, blocked the video, which mocks the Prophet Muhammad, in Egypt and Libya. But in blocking the video Google said it did not contain pornographic or violent content and therefore did not meet the criteria necessary to completely block the video on in the United States.

The video, a trailer for a supposed movie called the “Innocence of Muslims,” has received strong criticism from top U.S. officials in light of the attacks. Secretary of State Hilary Clinton said the video is “disgusting and reprehensible.”
