Al Jazeera hires lobby firm DLA Piper

{mosads}The registration form says DLA Piper will conduct “informational communications regarding client’s cable television channel.”

Among the four lobbyists on the account is Mark Paoletta, former chief counsel for oversight and investigations for the House Energy and Commerce Committee.

Al Jazeera America Holdings is the U.S. subsidiary of the Qatar-based news network.
